With Love from the Kitchen

Here is one of my middle chil d helping make cupcakes.  It was the first time he expressed interest in making something in the kitchen, so we had to have pics.
The base is Marina Mist with layers of Recollections kitchen collection, Summer Sun, and a retired green from the bold brights.  The title image is a stamp from All Night Media, colored with copics and mounted on Summer Sun that was cut and embossed with a nestabilities classic square, and mounted with dimensionals.  The flags are made with the decorative label punch from SU, stamped with TGF's splotchy and Hello backgrounds in Tim Holtz distress inks.  I folded them in half over the baker's twine, then sealed them with adhesive and placed a punch heart in red on each.  It is held in place with a courduroy brad and the end with the bow is attached with a tiny drop of liquid glass.  The journalling is done with the SMASH labeler.  The image is TGF's cupcake Anya colored in copic markers, and accents of liquid glass to make her tongue, hairband, shoes and cherry shine.  She is also mounted with dimensionals.  Thanks for looking!  April
