Oh, Those Summer Nights

This is for TGF's Retro-Fresh challenge for summer and Anyone for Anya's Just Use It challenges.
standing as easel card
The base is turquoise with layers of bubble gum pink and some cute beach patterned paper I was given by my mom-in-law.  I used the Martha Stewart lacy heart border punch and EK Success corner rounder for punches.  I used my machine to stitch around the layers with zig zag and small straight stitches...I just don't do well on curves - sheesh.  The image is from TGF's Miss Anya Rain, Snow, Shine set and is colored with copic markers.  Her face, bangs, and sunglasses were colored again on another stamped image, then cut out and mounted on the base character with dimensionals.  I used some liquid glass for the lenses, and some bling on her sandals and shirt.  I used a gel pen to add details to the skirt.  The layer she is mounted on is also mounted with dimensionals.  The sentiment is printed on a label maker.  I made this an easel card, so the inside is decorated with matching scraps and a wonky button tied with jute twine, that kinda reminds me of beach debris and broken shells you might find on the beach.  Thanks for looking!  April
