Pie card
This is my SWAP for my monthly stamp club featuring the October 2014 My Paper Pumpkin stamps. The base is Very Vanilla with layers of Old Olive and Bo Bunny's Shabby Princess papers. The doily is layered with coordinating Shabby Princess paper cut with the third classic circle from Nestabilities. The pie is cut using a 1 3/4" circle from aluminum foil, the scalloped circle from kraft, a 1 1/2" circle from Pumpkin Pie, and inking with Crumb Cake. I cut a slice before mounting on the foil layer. I also used a small flower punch with Whisper White cardstock crumpled before adding to the slice for whipped topping. I used Very Vanilla, stamped with Early Espresso and a flag notched with the corner of a square punch, before mounting on a dimensional and bending the flag tail. I added some gold glitter tape behind the flag and inside I inked "Happy Thanksgiving" in Old Olive. Thanks for looking! April

TGF's Alter Ego!
TGF is hosting a new challenge called Alter Ego. The idea is to combine two different TGF characters to make a new one.
I have used this one before, seen here, but this is my Percy Jackson using Mer Ian and WS Flirty Edward digis. I used Ian's head and Edward's body, but the trick is I copied his left side, flipping the image and moving it to the right, then adding a t-shirt under the open shirt. His sword, Riptide, is a image I found online. Percy is colored in copic markers, then cut out using Nestabilities Labels Seven. I cut him so he looks like he is stepping out of the book (see one foot out of the book?). I used my fingers to curve the paper and mount the "book" on dimensionals so the book seems to be rising off the base. The text background stamp is from 7gypsies in Basic Grey. The paper is Bo Bunny and Recollections on Very Vanilla base. I used the film strip punch from EK Success for the strip border and some jute twine in a square knot to make it feel more like Percy's connection to the ocean. I also tossed in some polaroid pics, especially one of his favorite demigod, Annabeth (from TGF's Miss Anya Hats Off). The polariods are a die from Quik Kutz. Sorry I can't get a better image of the layers, but it kept coming out fuzzy. Thanks for looking! April

#1 Teacher frame
This is one of the Christmas gifts I have been working on for the kids teachers. I am also entering it into the TGF FFF Holiday Memories challenge. I always looked forward to the class holiday party and my teachers always had something fun planned. I love making gifts for my kids teachers even now.
I found these frames at Ikea for $1.99 each and they come in black, white or red. The papers are Bo Bunny's Shabby Princess and Pep Rally. The chalkboard is made with the Tim Holtz die and the "blackboard" was cut to fit inside then distressed with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress ink before using a chalk ink writer for the board. The image is TGF's Cheeky Geeky and is colored with copic markers using the no-line technique and paper piecing. She also has faux pearl earrings. Thanks for looking! April

Right Now
This is for TGF's Farm Fresh Friday Paper Piecing and Anyone for Anya's Time challenges.
The base is kraft with layers of cocoa, Very Vanilla, and Bo Bunny's Timepiece papers. The kraft base is inked with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink and the Vanilla layer is distressed with the Tonic paper distresser. I used the Tim Holtz weathered clock die in kraft, then lightly inked the edges, as well as the red designer paper and the tag. The tag is from 7 Gypsies and the stub has been perferated and removed before being attached to the card with a Tim Holtz memo pin. The image is TGF's Oliver & Amelia Journey, stamped on kraft with Versamark and heat embossed with metallic gold, then colored with copic markers. I used a piece of extra Bo Bunny Timepiece paper to paper piece his hat, then mounted Oliver on dimensionals. The ribbon is Early Espresso from SU. Once everything was in place, I spritzed the whole thing with Gold Glow smooch before mounting it on the kraft base. Thanks for looking! April

u & i
This is my daughter with her BFF. The two of them are always hamming it up for the camera. I am entering it into a pagemaps embellishment challenge.
The layout is from a sketch offered for the challenge. The base is Bazzill Core Color in bubblegum pink with layers of Bo Bunny. These are all scraps from a album class I took a couple of years ago. The brown is also Bazzill. I used my nestabilities scallop circle in SU Certainly Celery. I used a square punch to make the notches on the flags and my machine to add stitches. The border is from Martha Stewart. The title is stamped using sketchy font from Autumn Leaves in Timber Brown Staz-On. The "&" is self-adhesive chipboard from Basic Grey and is lightly sponged in Soft Sky ink. The images are TGF Miss Anya Lounge and Special Autumn, colored with copic markers and mounted with dimensionals. The photo is also mounted on dimensionals so that the tag slides behind. The tag is a scrap of the matching Bo Bunny with a tab made from the decorative label punch and fixed with a wide eyelet. I used the polka dots embossing folder for the strip at the bottom right and the tab punch for the date plaque. The chocolate flag has a stamp from 7 Gypsies, stamped in Whisper White craft ink. Thanks for looking! April

Dad
Wow, posts two days in a row...who would have thought! So this is for TGF's Farm Fresh Challenge masculine; Anyone for Anya's stitching; Deconstructed Sketch Number 55; and Pixie Dust Studio's patterned paper challenges. Now, normally I would do a PDS image for one of their challenges, but I will be gone for the weekend and was a little pressed for time, so here we are.
The base is Always Artichoke with layers of Bo Bunny Shabby Princess School Spirit papers, Marina Mist, Pumpkin Pie, and So Saffron. The image is TGF's Wild Sprout Jeremy and is stamped on Whisper White with Jet Black Staz-On, then trimmed and mounted with dimensionals. The layer he is mounted on is also mounted with dimesionals to give the ribbon some extra room. The ribbon is SU's Early Espresso grosgrain and attached with Tim Holtz tiny attacher mini staples. The sentiment is stamped from a dollar alphabet from Michael's, then punched out using the side of the decorative label punch from SU. I added a couple of mini brads. There is stitching around the base patterned paper and zig zag along the blue strip.

Monday Funday #22 - Anything Goes
Here we are with the last Monday Funday of February...how time flies. This week's challenge is Anything Goes so pull out whatever TGF stamps you have an go to town!
My card base is cocoa with layers of kraft and Bo Bunny Mammarazzi. I used a zig zag stitch on the layered piece and a small straight stitch around the base. The border punch is Martha Stewart and I added silver brads at each point. The ribbon is SU's Night of Navy and Early Espresso grosgrain. The sentiment is from the Bo Bunny Mammarazzi line and has a added SU star brad. The image is TGF's Wild Sprout Jeremy, colored in copic markers and mounted with dimensionals.
Be sure to visit the Farm Fresh Challenge blog to see the rest of the Design Team samples and to play along with us. Thanks for looking! April

Vintage Witch
This is for TGF's Mystery Monday with Tracy P and Anyone for Anya's Vintage Vibe challenges.
The base is Pumpkin Pie with layers of Bo Bunny Shabby Princess Pep Rally and Back to Basic polka dot cardstock. I distressed the edges of the stripped paper and cut the center circle with the nestabilities classic circle. The blue layer is cut and embossed with the next smaller circle in the same group. The image is TGF's witch, colored in warm gray copic markers, then coated with versamark and clear embossing powder. After multiple layers, it is cooled in a freezer for a few minutes, then cracked. It is layered from the image up. Add in some Heidi Swapp felt stars, a left over spider piece (Inkadinkado's Halloween wine label set), Early Espresso twine and a coordinating button to finish the look. I still think it needs something more, but I opted to leave a sentiment off for later use. Thanks for looking! April

Matt's Many Hats
Yea, still majorly behind on the scrapbooking. I know I should take a break from the challenges or find more hours of the day to hide in my scrap nook. This is my youngest and his recent obsession with hats...everyone's hats.
The base is SU's Chocolate Chip textured cardstock with Bo Bunny's Shabby Princess Pep Rally papers. I just love it and have used it several times. The border near the top is Martha Stewart. The embellishments are printed copies of Dr. Seuss's 500 Hats of Bartholmew Cubbins and TGF's Just for You Oliver colored in copic markers and mounted with dimensionals. I took a couple of the photos and matted and mounted them on dimensionals to add interest. The title is Cricut's Doodletype and coordinating Bo Bunny stickers. I wanted the LO to looked like a ecclectic collage so it seems a bit random and cluttered. Sorry for the glare, but it was the best one I got. Thanks for looking! April

Cheeky girl
This is for TGF's WOW sketch #6 and Stampers R Us "There was a little girl..." challenge.
Papers are Bo Bunny Pep Rally and Stampin' Up cardstock Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, and So Saffron. The image is TGF's Wild Sprout Audrey and she is colored in grey and black watercolor pencil. She is just so cheeky and fun! I used an ultra fine pen to doodle around her edges (CASED from Deconstructing Jen - thanks, Jen!). Audrey is cut and embossed with the Classic Oval Nestabilities. I used a scrap of leftover ribbon to make the little knot and attached with a glue dot. I took the base layer and stitched around the image, layering the strips and stitching around those, adhering to the card base. The image is mounted on dimensionals, then mounted on card. I chose to skip a sentiment so I can add it later on. Thanks for looking! April

This is my entry for this week's TGF Mystery Monday CASE challenge. In place of a card, I decided to make it a LO for my daughter's new hobby.
The papers are Bo Bunny Mama-razzi. Image is skater Anya from TGF's Later Skater set. I used a Martha Stewart border punch for the bottom and Tim Holtz tag, mini paper clip, and tissue tape to accent. Title is cut with Cricut's Doodletype at 1 1/2". I tied a bit of Night of Navy ribbon to the "k" and used a scrap of the Mama-razzi papers to cut a design for the skateboard. Anya is colored with watercolor pencils and is layered at the head. She is mounted on dimensionals against a rhinestone star sticker I found on clearance at Michael's. Thanks for looking! April

Rock Star
This is for my BIL's birthday and for Anyone for Anya's stitching challenge.
Directions for the pop-up card can be found on Splitcoast Stampers. Papers are Bo Bunny's Mamarazzi and DCWV's Tattered Time. I stitched around the edge of the tag on my sewing machine, but the bobbin ran out, so I reused the holes and did it by hand. It is double thick, but it looks kinda cool too. The image is TGF's Later Skater and is colored in watercolor pencil on Whisper White. I don't like how it blends on the WW, it almost blends better on regular copier cardstock. The guitar is from SU's Grunge Rock and is printed on Whisper White with Momento Tuxedo Black. The sentiment is Inkadinkadoo and is printed in Jet Black Staz-On on Very Vanilla, then chalked with Chestnut Roan cat's eye. I used a scrap of Basic Grey at the top of the tag to make the shank. The ribbons are Night of Navy from SU, black plaid from Michael's, and the music ribbon is specialty printed from a LSS. I ripped a Tim Holtz journalling ticket to print the Happy Birthday sentiment, and used the tiny attacher. I used left over pieces of jute twine to tie off the ribbon. The center of the music ribbon is tied with twine, then layered with a black button gem. Thanks for looking! AprilUpdate: I won the Anyone for Anya Challenge! See the list and the new challenge here!

School Spirit
Here is my entry for PDS School themed tag or bookmark challenge, and Creative Inspirations stitching challenge.
The red and black is my kids school colors with the adorable cheerleader image from PDS. Both have stitching around the base. Punches include EK Success dotted scallop and SU's scalloped border. The other is Hermoine from their HP digi and uses Bo Bunny Pep Rally papers and Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, and Old Olive SU cardstock. The font is Harry P and is available for FREE from dafont. It is pretty basic and just a matter of building layers. What I love is that I can use them as quick card fronts, bookmarks, etc. Thanks for looking! April

s{ick}?
Here is my card for TGF's WOW , the Stampers R Us 1,2,3 challenge, and Anyone for Anya's color challenge. Can't you just see the colors? Green for lettuce and pickles, yellow or orange for cheese, brown for meat, light brown for buns, etc. So cool.
This is TGF's Wild Sprout Daniel digi colored in watercolor pencil and cut with nestabilities deckled die. Card is layers of Bo Bunny Pep Rally and Back to Basics yellow and blue. The tissue box idea is CASEd from Artistic Avenger (thanks Carrie!). She has the directions...super easy and too cute! Add a couple of brads and done. The sentiment inside is stamped in Jet Black Staz-On then stamped again on a scrap of the B2B blue and mounted with dimensionals. Super easy and too cute! Thanks for looking! April

let's bowl
This is from my youngest first trip to bowl. It is inspired from June 2011 pagemaps. It was a 8 1/2x11 LO, but I altered it to fit the 12x12 format I use.
Base is Bo Bunny back to basics, layered with a sheet of More Mustard cut to 10x10. Then I used scraps of Bo Bunny Christmas papers I used to make a album a couple of years ago. The stripped piece at the bottom, was a scrap that I used one of my Martha Steward border punches, then cut the curve on either side. I printed the pins on cardstock from a yahoo image, then punched the balls using a 1 3/8" circle punch on Basic Black. Then, I used a white gel pen to add details to the balls. I sewed some green polka dot ribbon to the bottom, arranging the pins and putting a couple on dimensionals. I used a scrap piece to punch the tab. The title is rub-ons and Basic Grey chipboard letters inked in a retired SU craft ink. Thanks for looking! April

Laugh
I know, two posts in one day. I am posting as I get them done, so hang with me! I love to see my
son's face when he laughs...he is very expressive!
The base is Chocolate Chip and the patterned paper is Bo Bunny's Shabby Princess line. A lot of it is school themed. All the pieces are cut at 2.5". The patterned papers have Bo Bunny boy-themed rub-ons. The blue is Bo Bunny Back to Basics and punched with EK Success border punch. The ribbon is Stampin' Up Not Quite Navy. The stickers are Bo Bunny and coordinate with the Shabby Princess. Once everything was in place, I ran it in my sewing machine. Last, I added the matching brads. Simple, but cute. Thanks for looking! School Photos
Sorry about my being MIA...my husband lost his job last month and we have been scrambling to get things together, so no mojo for me. Thankfully I have a monster stack of photos to play catch-up with, so no worries on the no printing ban...LOL.
My hubby did splurge and get me a new Cricut Create. In his defense, they were on clearance at Walmart for a crazy-low price and I am selling my original baby bug to cover half of the price. Love the new features...some of the Expression features, all in the compact baby size. Also love the extensive size capabilities. Enough of that and on to the LOs!

Here are two of the munchkin's school pics. I have been somewhat addicted to the Creative Imaginations Back to School paper and stickers. They have it for preschool and elementary, so that is why you have seen it on my last several school-related LOs. My daughter's LO uses the Bo Bunny leftovers from the purse album I made several months ago. They are whimsical and fun. Both LOs use my newest font...Don Juan. Maggie's uses the "under pressure" and puzzle features. Matt's uses the Marquis feature. Solid colors are from Stampin' Up's retired Bold Brights - Only Orange, Lovely Lilac, Pink Passion, Yo Yo Yellow, Glorious Green and Green Gable. Thanks for looking! April

Locks of Love
Earlier this year, my daughter decided it was finally time to cut her hair. She has been growing it out for two years for Locks of Love, after learning about it from some of her friends. She was so proud and had 10.5 inches cut.
The solid cardstock is retired Stampin Up Bold Brights in Only Orange and Gable Green. Printed papers are Bo Bunny. I ripped them at different angles for contrast. I think it is funky but nice to get away from the puzzle piece style I have been stuck to. Title is cut from Cricut's Opposite Attract. I used metal rimmed tags and some coordinating ribbon and brads to make the before and after tags. The sticker across the top of the page is also Bo Bunny. Thanks for looking! April
