Super Grand-dad

Here is my card for Pixie Dust Studio Challenge's Homemade-Handmade. I made the little paper buttons to go on my Father-in-law's card. I also entered it into Paper Sundae's Sentimental challenge. Put a sentiment on the front of the card. What fun challenges this week!

Card base is Whisper White, with red Moxxie (left over from Matt's chocolate milk LO), and the blue cowboy print (leftover from the Miracles in Motion LO). I also used a scrap of Basic Black for the dotted scallop border from EK Success. The sentiment is printed in Batik Regular font and punched with SU's wide oval punch and layered with the curved tab punch and curvy label punch on dimensionals. I added a bit of ribbon for some texture and sewed the various layers with a wide straight stitch. The image is Captain Cash from PDS and is colored with watercolor pencils and accents of liquid glass on the eyes, puppy nose, and heart on cape.

Inside is finished with leftover pieces and room for a note. Thanks for looking! April
