Howdy

This is for TGF's Farm Fresh Friday 4th of July, Stamp Something's 4th of JulyStamptacular Sunday's Stars & Stripes challenges, Pixie Dust Studios patriotic, Anyone for Anya's show your colors and Creative Inspirations stars & stripes challenges.
The base is white cardstock, layered with black and the western B&T papers are from Hobby Lobby.  I sewed around the edges and used the notebook border punch on the inner layer.  I wrapped the base in jute twine and added some knots to try and make it look it bit like barbwire or really worn rope.  The image is Wild Sprout Hugh rubber stamp, stamped in Jet Black Staz-On on Whisper White cardstock and colored with watercolor pencils.  (I can honestly say I just don't like how it blends on the SU cardstock as it is so smooth the pencil just doesn't stick.)  I did cut the neckerchief and face in a couple of layers for added dimension.  The star is cut from Cricut's George and Basic Shapes at 1 3/4".  Thr circles are 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" with a hand-drawn sentiment, mounted on dimensionals.  Thanks for looking!  April
